Laboratory tests (analysis)

Employees of the laboratory conduct grain tests, take a direct part in the reception, movement and shipment of grain, control a number of parameters during drying, ventilation and storage of grain crops. All observations of the laboratory assistant are recorded in the appropriate form.

During grain storage, laboratory technicians analyze it according to a variety of criteria:
organoleptic parameters (color and smell);
mass fraction of protein, moisture, gluten, raw gluten quality;
falling-number value;
vitreousness;
presence of impurities, including weeds;
defects and other indicators.
